This privacy statement is intended to inform users about how this website complies with the General Data Protection Regulation in terms of the type, scope and purpose of data collection and use of personal data by the website operator, Xavi Domènech Institute de Barcelona.

When visiting this Web site, the Web server automatically records log files. This data includes, for example, browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address of the requesting party's computer, date and time of server request and client file request (file name and URL). This data is collected for statistical evaluation purposes only. A transfer to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes does not take place under any circumstances.

The use of our website is generally possible without having to provide personal information. Insofar as we collect personal data, this takes place, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent.

What data do we collect?

We collect personal data to process your registration for an activity that has been advertised on our website or in our brochures. In particular, this includes attending, either in person or online, a workshop, course, training or any other event organized by the Xavi Domenech Institute. 

This information, which basically consists of name, telephone number with area code and e-mail address, is considered personal information because it may help us contact you.

By completing an application form or registering for one of our events by email, by phone, in person or by mail, you agree to the storage and processing of your personal data for the creation, implementation and processing of your reservation.

Use of your data for advertising purposes related to Tantra.

By mail and telephone

In addition to processing your data to carry out the booking of your course, we also use this information to inform you by mail or WhatsApp message about other similar activities. In addition, we may use your data to inform you via WhatsApp about related courses or other activities.

Payment gateways and purchase buttons

We collect information from you during the checkout process on our website, checkout buttons or payment gateways.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site we will keep track of:

  • Products you have viewed: we will use this to, for example, show you products you have recently viewed.
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we will use this for purposes such as estimating taxes and shipping costs.
  • We also use cookies to keep track of cart contents as you browse our site.

Who in our team has access to

Our team members have access to the information you provide us. For example, the administrators of our page and social networks (Facebook and Instagram) can access:

  • Our team members have access to this information to help complete orders, process refunds and support you.

Double option and registration

Registration for our newsletter is carried out in a procedure called double-click. After registration, you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with third-party e-mail addresses. The newsletter registration will be carried out to check the subscription process in accordance with legal requirements. This includes storing the login and confirmation time as well as the IP address.

Termination / revocation

You may terminate receipt of our newsletter at any time by revoking your prior consent. At the same time, you can send your consent and the statistical analyses will expire.

Legal basis: general data protection regulation

In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as GDPR, which applies from May 25, 2018, we inform you that the consent to the sending of e-mail addresses is in accordance with § 6 para. 1 lit. a, 7 GDPR and § 7 (2) no. 3 and (3) of the Law against Unfair Competition. The use of the mail service provider, the performance of surveys and statistical analyses as well as the recording of the registration process are based on our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

We are interested in using a secure and easy-to-use newsletter system that serves both our non-profit interests and the expectations of our users.

Furthermore, we inform you that you may object to the further processing of your personal data at any time, in accordance with the legal requirements of Art. 21 GDPR. The objection can be made, in particular, against processing for direct marketing purposes.
